WSGF's forum member, anteronoid, has released a FOV mod for Middle-earth: Shadow of War. This mod uses CheatEngine in order to increase/decrease the game's FOV. Now since this is a single-player game, we believe it won't get you into any trouble. Still, you will use it at your own risk.
What's cool is that anteronoid created a full version for those that don't have CheatEngine installed. However, this version may trigger a false positive from Anti-virus programs. According to anteronoid, this mod will do stuff in the memory code and inject FOV values which will trigger most Anti-virus programs. Swiftshader 3.0 free for pc.
We've scanned this version and it's free from viruses. However, if you don't feel comfortable with it, you should not download it. The problem here is that the game does not offer any FOV sliders so there isn't any alternative other than this mod. Minecraft gratis no demo.

- Oct 09, 2014 Trying out the fov back and forward in the video to show the difference. I didnt like the default camera, it were to close to the character so i stopped playing the game. Now its fixed by a third.
All you have to do – in order to change the FOV – is start the game and load your save, alt-Tab back to desktop and start the FOV changer exem alt-Tab back to game and enable script with hotkey NUM 0. Then you can increase or decrease the FOV with NUM+ and NUM-, and you can go back to the default FOV with NUM*. And that's it.

The trainers for Xbox/Microsoft and Epic game versions, and patchers for EGS and future versions remove pillarboxing (black bars) from real-time rendered cutscenes, menu and dialogue screens and offer the option to adjust FOV.

Making changes to Engine.ini to increase FOV through Y-axis calculation is no longer recommended, as it gets reset by finishers and possibly other in-game events. Make sure the config is in its default state to avoid unexpected issues.
The mod does not address the cropping of the viewmodel and stretching of FMVs.
In order to force unsupported resolutions, edit GameUserSettings.ini and set the ResolutionSizeX=, ResolutionSizeY=, DesiredScreenWidth=, DesiredScreenHeight= values as desired - e.g. 5760 and 1080. Getting into the settings in the game will undo the changes, so make sure to have configured the game to preference prior to editing the config.

Option 1 (patchers):
Unpack the patcher archive and use the applicable tool to patch the exe in MoonManBinariesWin64 within the main folder. This will adjust FOV to match the vertical of 16:9. The tool also aims to remove all pillarboxing except from pre-rendered cutscenes but this may come at the cost of reduced FOV in the starting cutscene. Some further cutscenes are confirmed as having more horizontal FOV but there is no way to guarantee every cutscene will display correctly without playing through the game. Option 2 (trainer, supports Microsoft Store):
Unpack the trainer / Game Pass archive with software like 7zip - the password is pcgw Launch the game Launch the tool Press the black bars removal key before a cutscene and use the other buttons to adjust FOV as desired Tested the latest GOG and Microsoft Store versions at 2560x1080, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080.

Compared to changing FOV with the UE4 unlocker, this tool will not produce as much decrease at cutscenes and the FOV will not be reset after each level.

The tool allows to remove black bars from the game at 21:9 and wider and increase or decrease field of view in real-time at any resolution.
The included presets will adjust the vertical FOV at the gameplay to match that of 16:9, with some deviations at the cutscenes and interactions mostly in favor of higher vertical FOV.
Download and unpack the archive using software like 7zip or PeaZip. The password is pcgw Launch the game, followed by the tool. Press the hotkeys as instructed to make the desired changes. Tested the latest Microsoft Store / Game Pass version at 2560x1080 and briefly at 3440x1440, 3840x1080 and 5760x1080.
